MEMBERSHIP MATTERS!

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS:

General member -designated to individuals who:

  • Have completed one of the minority health policy fellowship program at Harvard University funded by the Commonwealth Fund, California Endowment, and the Joseph L. Henry Oral Health Program

Active member - designated to individuals who:

  • Have completed one of the minority health policy fellowship program at Harvard University funded by the Commonwealth Fund, California Endowment, and the Joseph L. Henry Oral Health Program
  • Update their membership information yearly
  • Contributed $100 for membership dues

-Active Reede Scholars have voting privileges

-Membership expires after one year, at which point you have the option to renew

Your Reede Scholars account allows YOU to:

  • Keep your contact information up-to-date
  • Have full access to member only content where you can connect with other Reede Scholar Alumni through the Alumni Network
  • Submit your Reede Scholars membership dues (tax-deductible)
  • Customize your membership - decide what content you want to receive and opt out of
  • Register for Events
  • Participate in online voting and surveys

    Reede Scholar Recognition levels:

    Alumni support is essential for the Reede Scholars to succeed.   Support takes many forms, from volunteering your time, participating in a Reede Scholars event, serving on a committee, and sharing a job opportunity.   We welcome all levels of engagement.

    Engaged Reede Scholar - individuals who are committed to furthering the Reede Scholars mission and vision by:

    • Maintaining an Active Reede Scholar Membership
      • Engaging in Reede Scholars initiatives*
    OR
    • Donating up to $499 within 12 months to the Reede Scholars

    -Recognition as an Engaged Reede Scholar will be posted on our website and expires after one year

    Loyal Reede Scholars - designated to individuals who want to influence the future of the Reede Scholars by:
    • Maintaining an Active Reede Scholar Membership
    • Engaging in Reede Scholars initiatives* 
    OR
    • Donating $500 or more within 12 months to the Reede Scholars

    -Recognition as a Loyal Reede Scholar will be posted on our website and expires after one year

    Distinguished Reede Scholar  - designated to individuals who:

    • Have maintained an Active Reede Scholar Membership
    • Have engaged directly in Reede Scholars initiatives by holding a leadership position (Board of Directors, Executive Board, Committee Chair, etc)
    • Have donated $5000 or more to the Reede Scholars

    -Recognition of a Distinguished Reede Scholar is permanent and will be announced at the Annual Reede Scholars Symposium and posted on our website. 


    *Reede Scholars initiatives includes but is not limited to: Fundraising, contributing to publications, participating in Reede Scholar meetings (at least 5 per year), committee member/chair, attending symposium/leadership retreat, executive board member, Board of Director member

    Your membership donations support vital Reede Scholars programming, including:

    • Annual Health Equity Symposiums
    • Annual Leadership Retreat
    • Reede Scholars Live Podcast
    • Reede News - The Official Newsletter of the Reede Scholars, Inc
